Colnago TT2 – The Next Generation of Colnago Time Trial Performance
The Colnago TT2 is Colnago’s latest-generation time trial bike, created for one purpose: maximum speed against the clock.
Developed as the successor to the Colnago TT1 and in partnership with UAE Team Emirates-XRG, the TT2 brings together advanced aerodynamics, significantly reduced weight, improved handling and an extensively integrated rider position.
It is also the time trial machine chosen by Tadej Pogačar, bringing the same Colnago TT technology developed for racing at the highest level of professional cycling to riders looking for one of the most advanced TT bikes available.
For the TT2, Colnago moved beyond designing a bicycle purely around the lowest possible aerodynamic drag. Modern time trials can include climbs, technical corners, accelerations and exposed sections where handling and crosswind stability matter just as much as straight-line speed.
The result is a complete carbon time trial performance platform engineered around aerodynamics, weight, acceleration, rider positioning, stability and control.
550 Grams Lighter Than the Colnago TT1
One of the biggest developments is weight.
The Colnago TT2 frameset is approximately 550 grams lighter than the previous TT1, while maintaining the stiffness, strength and aerodynamic performance required from an elite-level time trial bike.
Reducing weight transforms more than climbing performance. A lighter TT bike accelerates faster out of corners and makes it easier to regain race speed after technical sections, turnarounds and changes in gradient.
That makes the TT2 particularly suited to the increasingly technical time trial courses found in modern professional racing and triathlon.
A Completely Redesigned Aero Front End
At the front of the bike, Colnago has created a significantly narrower and cleaner aerodynamic profile.
The TT2 combines an exceptionally slim head tube, redesigned integrated carbon fork and narrow TT cockpit to reduce frontal exposure and improve airflow around the rider and bicycle.
Fully integrated cable routing keeps the front of the bike exceptionally clean while preserving the unmistakably aggressive appearance expected from a modern Colnago TT bike.
The objective is simple: less aerodynamic resistance and more speed for every watt produced.

Tadej Pogačar's Colnago TT Bike
The TT2 is the latest Colnago time trial platform used by Tadej Pogačar.
For the 2026 Tour de France, Pogačar's TT2 setup demonstrates just how uncompromising the platform can become: a size S frame, Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 1x drivetrain, 64-tooth Carbon-Ti chainring, 160 mm Dura-Ace crank arms and deep-section ENVE time trial wheels.
The exact professional race setup is rider- and course-specific, but it demonstrates the performance potential behind the production Colnago TT2 platform.

Colnago Aero Bottle System
Aerodynamic development extends beyond the TT2 frame.
Colnago developed a dedicated Aero Bottle System alongside the bicycle so the bottle, cage and frame work together aerodynamically rather than treating hydration as an afterthought.
The system uses FIDLOCK® magnetic fastening technology and is designed as an integrated, UCI-compliant part of the TT2 aerodynamic package.
New TT Geometry – XS to L
The Colnago TT2 introduces completely revised geometry with a greater emphasis on rider fit and positional flexibility.
Four frame sizes — XS, S, M and L — make it possible to create an aerodynamic position around the individual rider rather than forcing riders into a limited geometry range.
For a time trial bike, this is critical. The fastest frame cannot deliver its full potential unless the rider can achieve an aerodynamic, powerful and sustainable position.
